Register.com Marks Millionth Domain

Register.com, Inc. announced Thursday it registered its 1 millionth domain on Tuesday.
Felicia Reymont's domain was the millionth domain name to be registered by Register.com. She
registered the domain "granny-to-be.com" to build a site offering products and services for new
grandmothers.
Reymont, a songwriter, initially registered granny-to-be.com to distribute a song she wrote and
produced,entitled "The Mom of a Mom-to-Be." Eventually, she plans to develop the site's
offerings to include additional products for new grandmothers.
Register.com's millionth customer also registered the domain "neverused.com" through
Register.com with plans to develop a site aimed at people who want to sell clothes and other
items that have never been worn or used. Register.com will also provide Ms. Reymont with a
free USA.NET customized and branded e-mail account with her new domain name.
Register.com provides customers with the ability to register domain names using a variety of
top-level domain (TLD) extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .co.uk, .md, .fm and .sh. The domain
registar was selected as one of five companies worldwide to receive official accreditation by
ICANN, and was the first registrar to start registering .com, .net and .org domain names in
addition to Network Solutions Inc.
